Funding Opportunities
Research Development at The Ohio State University is a collaborative effort between the university community and the Office of Funding and Research Development. Office staff will help clarify funding needs, search for funding opportunities, and then create alerts to provide information about new and updated funding opportunities. Support is also provided for working with sponsors, locating collaborators, identifying interdisciplinary research possibilities, or working with other Office of Sponsored Programs departments.

- Funding Alert Service: Set up a weekly alert of funding announcements.
- Register to receive funding alerts.
- Limited Submission, Notable, Nominated : Search for special funding opportunities.
- View Open Programs Report: Limited Submission Programs with open sponsor deadlines for which Ohio State is eligible to apply.
- Funding-Faculty Profile Match: Locate collaborators at The Ohio State University or by Specific Institutions
- The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Stimulus Bill)
- Funding Opportunities Internal to Ohio State:
- Center for Emergent Materials Seed Funding Program - The deadline is Monday (8/3) with an anticipated start date of Tuesday (9/1). The aim is to provide funding to research that broadens the scope of the CEM by responding to rapidly emerging opportunities within the broad purview of the seed program. Grants provide funds of up to $25,000.
