Fringe Benefit Rates and Tuition

FY 2018

As indicated in ourĀ rate agreement with DHHS, following are the fringe benefit rates that will be charged to sponsored projects beginning July 1, 2017: Fringe benefits include employer-paid contributions for retirement, health care, life insurance, etc. The cost of these benefits is calculated as a percentage of salary. Since benefits differ for different categories of personnel, there are a number of different fringe benefit rates.
