Proposal Development
The Ohio State University Office of Sponsored Programs is responsible for submitting proposals requesting support for research and other scholarly projects to funding agencies. Resulting awards are made to the Office of Sponsored Programs, which administers them on behalf of faculty and staff at The Ohio State University. Faculty and staff members who direct sponsored research programs under university auspices are responsible for effective conduct of these projects. The information below is intended to help principal investigators and their support staff fulfill that responsibility.
The purposes of the Proposal Development and Preparation pages are to:
- inform principal investigators of the support that is available to them through the Office of Sponsored Programs
- provide information about policies and procedures that affect sponsored programs at Ohio State
